1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Remote Control for TV: Smart handles information when you use the iOS application and related website. The app provides smart TV remote control functionality for compatible Samsung Tizen and LG webOS TVs over your local Wi-Fi network.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

The app does not require an account, does not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, browsing history, or other personal information, and does not sell user data.

The app does not track users across apps or websites and does not build advertising profiles.

3. Local Network Permission

iOS may ask for Local Network permission. This permission is needed so the app can discover compatible TVs on the same Wi-Fi network and communicate with those TVs after pairing.

Local Network permission is used only for discovery, pairing, and remote control commands between your iPhone and compatible TVs on your local network.

4. Data Stored Locally

The app may store paired TV information locally on your device, such as the TV name, local network address, platform type, and pairing status. The app may also store pairing tokens locally so you do not need to pair with the same TV every time you open the app.

This information remains on your device and is used to reconnect to your compatible TVs more quickly.

5. Security

Pairing information and tokens are stored locally using iOS app storage mechanisms. You should keep your iPhone protected with a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID and use a trusted private Wi-Fi network when controlling your TV.

6. Third-Party Services

The app does not rely on third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or user tracking services. If this changes in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe the services used and the data involved.

7. Children’s Privacy

The app is not designed to collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you believe personal information has been provided to us through support communication, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect app changes, legal requirements, or operational updates. The “Last Updated” date will indicate when the latest changes were made.

9. Contact Information

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or the app’s privacy practices, contact us at oujdidriss10@gmail.com.
